Pool pump motor replacement?

I have a 30-year old Sta-Rite 1 hp. pool pump and motor, It is getting noisy and I am sure is highly inefficient. My pool service is recommending replacing just the motor with a 2-speed Impower motor for $750 parts and labor. 1 year warranty. They will check impeller section, but only replace if needed for additional cost. I have never heard of Impower before.
