What things do all capital cities have in common?

Capital cities may not be the biggest city in their respective country but they usually are pretty big. Since they hold the countries government the wield great power and importance. Most likely the countries biggest museums, zoo's, and other cultural attractions will be in the capital. Capitals also tend to have large corporate offices located there, as government's tend to contract out lots of work.
