If u puke immediately after eating is it as bad for u?

I'm not bulimic but I know some1 who is & I was telling her that bulimias bad bcus it includes all the acids in ur stomach that ur throwing up & she was wondering if u puke immediately after u eat then its not collecting in ur stomach & isn't devoured by acid so its probably not as bad. I was stumped. Is this true??
