Go show your girlfriend the stats for how many small businesses fail in their first year, particularly the ones started by first-time entrepreneurs. If that's not enough to cure her of the notion that there's no such thing as a quick, easy path to riches, find someone who won't embarrass you in front of the partners at holiday parties. (Of course, as everyone else has been saying, you should be with someone who's supportive of your goals in the first place, but that'll tell you whether or not this is a hopeless case.)
